MY STORY

I was about 4-5 years old, and I was walking down a busy street in my hometown holding my mom’s hand, suddenly I felt some kind of extra awareness, I just realized I was there, existing, and started looking at my other hand, somehow I was curious that I had these interesting extremities that we call hands as if it was the first time I saw them, or I had another kind of extremities before. Today I still remember that day very clear, it was a little awakening, today I’m still not sure what it means, but about 20 years later I heard someone else in an interview describing the same experience, I know I’m not alone, there are many of you like me out there waiting to discover their potential.

My name is Joyvel Osorio. I was born in Venezuela, into an artistic family, we were a low-middle-class but happy family, my dad thought me photography from a young age, and my mon to draw and paint, I developed these skills further in life to become a filmmaker, audio, and visual artist. I feel that I’m here to answer the questions I have had since I was a child. Why are we here? Why do we exist? and other similar questions. Questions that others have found answers to millennia ago, but each of us has to find our own path to it.

All I’m doing is sharing my findings with all of those that feel the same, so we can get passed this basic dilemma, and really start living as we are intended to do.
